The movement helps to attract the attention of fish in the area. Researchers have determined that the faster they move in their swaying, the hungrier the shrimp are. Some of the more social members of the cleaning group will also “dance” to attract attention. They don’t require the rigors of maintaining a specific sea anemone, nor do they have specific diets of starfish. The white bands on their legs or antennae serve as an advertisement of their services.įish notice the bright shade and swim over to have unwanted pests removed from their scales. Anyways, feel like I'm writing them a review lol.Plenty of aquarists get interested in adding saltwater shrimp to their reef tanks. We chatted about my tank, showed him some pictures, he was really interested in my planted tanks and said they were planning on expanding the FW planted section which was great news! for being new to selling plants they kept darn good care of them. Will definatly be going back there for any of my saltwater needs. Gained my trust right there with honest and knowledgeable answers. I already had a decent idea of what would be good/bad for my tank from researching alot and they were spot on with what my research concluded. The staff at Aquarium Arts was awesome, they spent time answering some questions and had some great suggestions for stocking. Saw a 180g tank there, started thinking, not gonna lie, gave me a chub Excited to see how the shrimp do. Stopped at Aquarium Arts on my way home and am aclimating 2 peppermint and one skunk cleaner right now (will probably get one or two more peppermint in the future but 'she who must be obeyed' only approved $50 for shrimp lol). I'm blaming my aptasia and colonial hydroids on the frag rocks salty gave me lol JUST KIDDING! Salty198 hooked me up with a half dozen frags a few weeks ago when I was first getting setup, all are doing good minus the one table SPS which I broke trying to learn how to mount it (shhh don't tell him lol) Other than you local guys what do you recommend doing with extra frags? I would absolutely hate throwing them out, but the Kenya is going nuts in my tank and I have 4 pieces of bright yellow/green trumpet (2 very large, one medium, and one 3 headed frag) Do you by chance want that 3 headed trumpet frag? My planted tanks are also fully stocked up, have to do weekly pruning. I'm also a planted tank guy so was looking at the FW stuff also, not a lot but they had an alright selection (I miss pets inc). I was 30 minutes late getting back because I was checking out all the frags. I know, I went there the other week at lunch (since I had to go back to work I knew I wouldn't be able to buy anything) and the selection was awesome.

![]() It's been a long time since The Eagles put out a new studio CD. And I totally sold it short in my first review with a simple line and note that the piano solo at the end is very "Hornsby-esque" (which it is. (And what great allegory that is.the double entrendre of making a mess not only of the clothing, but of her life in general.) Is just layers upon layers of melody that are interwoven like a fine tapestry. The song is so simple, yet so complex.the interlude after Going back to read it, I would make some definite changes to what I wrote - I didn't "love" Waiting in the Weeds" the first couple of times I heard it, but it's become my favorite on the CD, and one of my favorite Eagles songs. That being said, I wrote a review of LROE about a year ago when I purchased the CD (late comer ). Yep, social commentary, but I find it rather amusing, tongue in cheek. Personally, I like FG, but don't read so much into the lyrics. That kind of thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Obviously Henley believes that HE knows what the Lord cares about, unlike those stupid suckers, eh? I love how he begrudgingly admits that nowadays the prayers are for kids not to get hurt! As if the universe is so small that the Lord has time to watch football games." you know, they ask the Lord to watch over this football game, as if the Lord has nothing else to do. I mean, they used to come out and just ask outright for victory, but now they just sort of pray that nobody gets hurt, which is fine, but. And there's always a prayer before the games. ![]() " football is right up there next to God and Mom and the flag and apple pie. The Capitol Gold interview actually made me like the song even less because he reveals that the people he's mocking, the ones that pray at football games, are just regular folks hoping the game goes well. "I'm so much better than the ignorant masses." It's so freaking arrogant and condescending. the way he sneers at people who pray for things that he considers trivial. The way he mocks working class guys whom he considers to be unenlightened. I think what bothers me about this song is the way Henley seems to look down on regular people. I just don't like the impression that he gives off in the song. lol I don't know.I can't really explain why the lyrics annoy me in a way that makes sense. lol It has nothing to do with being a Christian because, believe me, I know the assumptions that a lot of people have with that and I also know the impression that a lot of "christians" give off. lol Even if I didn't find the lyrics to be condescending, I still wouldn't like the melody or (shock shock) the way he sings it. To be honest, I "get" what Don was trying to do with the song. There's also an Olympic-sized swimming pool, gyms, basketball courts, a driving range, a movie theater, and a six-story shopping mall - in addition to luxury apartments and hotels. Adding to its greenness is a giant, 30-story botanical garden located on the 100th floor. One of the most common tricks used on the 303 was to overdrive it into oblivion, and Arturia puts 14 algorithms at your fingertips for doing that. Next to that you'll find the vibrato controls and then the dedicated distortion circuit. The main instrument has added a few welcome amenities, including a sub oscillator with three selectable waveforms which gives the Acid V more oomph than the original ever had. Oh, and if that's not enough there are different playback modes so you can pingpong through a sequence, play it backwards or just bounce around randomly.Īrturia didn't save all the upgrades for the advanced tab, though. This gives you a lot of power to build something that's constantly evolving, especially if you're taking use of the full 64 steps. And there's even a polymetric option that allows you to change the sequence length of the notes, slides, vibrato and accents individually. You can easily shift sequences up or down a note chromatically or to the left and right to change the note order. On the left you can lock the sequencer into a particular scale to simplify things, add swing, change the sequence length (up to 64 steps) and even generate random sequences. What made it special was its odd squelchy sound that, when paired with the slides in its sequencer, produced something totally unique and became the core of acid house, hence the name Acid V. It's a bass machine - monophonic with a single oscillator, a 24db lowpass filter and an envelope generator to manipulate the filter. In part because the original 303 is a reasonably simple instrument. Well, I feel slightly embarrassed because there was a pretty obvious gap in Arturia's lineup I had overlooked: The Roland TB-303.Īrturia Acid V is probably one of the simpler instruments the company has made in recent years. We did get a version of the Korg MS-20 in May of 2022 as part of V Collection 9, but otherwise things have been pretty quiet. At this point the company has tackled many of the most iconic synths in history, and spent much of last year focused on its original creations like the Augmented series, Pigments, Fragments and Dist Coldfire. If you do this and it works for you, please spread the word everywhere you can find because I did not see a single reference to VST version when I googled Maschine seeing but not loading 3rd party plugins.I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out what would be the next vintage synth to get the Arturia emulation treatment. Anyway hope this helps someone because I was really pulling my hair out on this one. I strongly suspect its the VST2.4 version that fixed it and not the VST install location being the same folder as the NI stuff, but I'm too lazy to do a scientific study to find out. And BOOM! Just like that, all my Arturia stuff loads right up. So I checked the box to install the 2.4 versions and when asked, set the install location to the same folder where the rest of my NI stuff is installed. Previously I'd only installed the VST3 versions because Cubase ran those just fine so why would I want to clutter up my system with VST2.4's that I would never use? I updated all my Arturia plugs and when asked I checked the box to also install the VST2.4 versions of the plugs. UPDATE: I have just solved this, on my system anyway. My banjo doesn’t have one at the 10th fret as I never capo up to the key of C (I play out of open) Some people put one at the 8th fret as well (for Bb). So if you want to play in the key of E, you probably don’t want to hit the drone string open (G). The open 5th string (G) collides with the G# in the E major chord if they are played close to one another.
